Application Deadline

ALL application materials must be received by this deadline.  Every applicant must mail transcripts, a recommendation letter, and proof of application for U.S. citizenship (if not a current U.S. Citizen).

Notification of Applicants

Each selected applicant will be notified by the USDA agency as to their selection and a teleconference will be scheduled with the agency coordinator.

July 6-12, 2008

Orientation for Selected Scholars

All selected scholarship recipients are required to attend an orientation in Washington , DC . (Your travel and lodging expenses will paid by USDA). The orientation will feature an introduction to the USDA, leadership training, and mentorship from current USDA management.

* The application deadline for the recently posted FAS-International Trade scholarship is April 10, 2008.
